Lead for Poughkeepsie Accepting Fellow Applicants

Are you a young professional looking for a transformative work opportunity to make a difference in Poughkeepsie? Consider applying to be a Lead for Poughkeepsie Fellow! Lead for Poughkeepsie (LFPK) is a local affiliate of Lead for America, and is recruiting its second cohort of Fellows with ties to the City of Poughkeepsie and Mid-Hudson Valley region to serve on one-year full-time public service placements with local social impact organizations.

As part of the program, Fellows will become AmeriCorps members, receive over two weeks of world-class training in Washington D.C., a $30,000 stipend and a $6,500 scholarship for graduate school and student loans, a network of exceptional public service mentors at the top of their fields, access to graduate scholarships at leading institutions like UPenn and Georgetown, and profound friendships with members of the cohort who will become America’s future leaders.
